Crowns

Dr. Collier  may recommend a dental crown to revitalize a cracked, severely worn, or badly decayed tooth. Crowns are custom dental restorations that cover compromised teeth to restore form, function, and appearance. Dr. Collier designs and places crowns to beautifully renew smiles and provide lasting protection.
We offer all-porcelain, porcelain fused to metal, and gold crowns. Dr. Collier will consider your tooth’s location and function to choose the ideal material for your crown. Often referred to as a cap, a dental crown is an ideal alternative when a tooth requires more restoration than a filling. All-porcelain crowns look and feel life-like and are virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth. With proper care, your crown will provide lasting beauty, comfort, and function and safeguard your smile for years to come.

If you don’t need a full crown, Dr. Collier may suggest an inlay or onlay. These custom, lab-created restorations match existing tooth color and cover the damaged portion of a tooth to renew form, function, and appearance.
